Cancellations
Once a reservation is confirmed, those dates are blocked from other travelers who would like to book the property. Please use a credit card that provides trip cancellation insurance, or purchase a separate trip cancellation policy. Travel Guard and Insure My Trip are two companies that offer many options to suit your needs. If you choose not to purchase trip cancellation insurance, then if you need to cancel I will re-open the dates on the calendar. There is no guarantee your dates will be booked by another guest; however, I will try my best to book the dates and work out a partial refund - if those dates get re-booked .
PLEASE NOTE: If you are located in a hurricane area, understand that we cannot refund because your area is now impacted with severe weather. Please keep this in mind when making reservations.
Payment Policy
Fifty percent of the total due will be required to hold the reservation dates. The remaining balance will be due 90 days prior to arrival. Guests will be sent an invoice and asked to pay by debit/credit card. Exceptions to this policy are for high event dates such as the World Equestrian Games. Checks are required for this time frame.
Trip Insurance
We strongly recommend that guests purchase trip insurance which will protect your vacation investment in the event of an unexpected emergency that makes you unable to follow through with your vacation. A couple of trip insurance providers are Insure My Trip and Travel Guard.
